The Early History of Motorcycles

The history of Motorcycles starts after 1850's. 

• Pierre Michaux's Michoux and Co. construct the first Bicycle with peddles Which is Called as "Velocipede".

•  Michoux-Perreaux steam Velocipede is the first steam powered Motorcycle. 

• The first Motorcycle was produced by the Northop Manufacturing Company which is formed by Copeland in 1887. But actually it was a three-wheeler.
